I feel like going to a museum would be fantastic because it is public and some interesting things to do... But then again just a simple movie would suffice.
nothing heavy, just talk and get to know each other better, maybe get something to eat and just hangout,i dont want to make it seem like a job interview ...lol

My first date idea would be a walk around the mummies at the Auckland Museum and then if that went well a moonlite dinner
Oooh, not sure! You know what ..as long as it's a situation were we're able to talk then it's all good. Cinema, gallery, theatre, museum, drinks, picnic, restaurant, bowling, arcade, tattoo parlor ...I'm easy.
I would take you out to a place that we both have interest such as museum or art gallery followed by dinner and a movie.
That way we can got to know more about each other and have a good time enjoying the town.
I would take them to a museum, admiring the art work. Take a stroll around the museums garden. After that, we would go to Olive Garden and then go see a film at the cinema.

Being a somewhat shy person at first, I need some time to open up and test the ground. However, if I suggest to do something bizzare for the first date, that may not be comfortable for the other person! So, how to have an adventure in a mild setting? Go to a museum! Places such as Museum of Science and Industry are very interactive, creative, and offer much in the way of discussion. After exploration, we can either visit a local cafe or hookah bar and rest, conversing more personally, or stop by a supermarket, buy fresh bread, cheese, salami, and a bottle of wine and go on a picnic, granted it is a nice day.

My first date would be lunch in an art gallery or museum. Those first conversations can be tricky and a good discussion of the finer things is always a great icebreaker. Not that every moment needs to be filled with sound, because there are times when speech isn't necessary.
